The legendary Bruku Rock shrine, found at the Kwahu, Tafo area in the Easter Region Of Ghana. Its fascinating history and awesome view attract visitors from far and near. Thus The LT. COL. Ofosu-Appiah Empowerment Center took its esteemed members on a road trip to enjoy and experience the sights and sounds of Ghana. This stunning scenery led the excited members as they got closer to the jewel at the end of their exciting trip, The Tafo waterfalls.
Most of the children may have heard of the waterfall but might not have the opportunity to visit it. The foundation found it prudent to take them on this trip as a treat and moral builder for these future leaders.
The LT. COL. Ofosu-Appiah Empowerment Center took some of the youth from the community directly benefitting from their charity on a road trip to The Uncanny Tafo waterfall.
Tafo waterfall is a 60 ft. waterfall on the outskirts of Kwahu Tafo, on the Kotoso road in the Eastern Region. In the rainy season, it tumbles down into a series of splashing pools where people love to come and play, relaxing on a quiet afternoon or loudly celebrating a national holiday with jams music, and picnics. The stream falls away under a uniquely amazing natural cavern.
There is also a beautiful flow of waterfall drains that also form another small stream through the roots of giant trees at the site. During events, many who have gathered for entertainment enjoy a wash-down by the heavy waterfall.
The natural scenery at this tour site is breathtaking and you can also relax at a cut-through space in the rock to relax and enjoy some refreshment alone or with friends. This place is a must-visit.
The experience was meant to uplift, educate, and also empower the children through fun interactions and exploration. Both patrons and organizers learned a lot from each other. The excited children are grateful and are looking forward to more fun trips.
