Ofosu Appiah Empowerment Center

Who We Are

The Lt. Col. S.K. Ofosu-Appiah Empowerment Center is an organization based in Ghana and United States of America that focuses on providing essential resources to school-aged children in rural areas, with the goal of building a prosperous future for rural Ghana. Our aim is to offer opportunities and empowerment to children who would otherwise not have access to education.

We collaborate closely with local communities, ensuring that their input guides all our decisions and actions. Our staff members are typically from the local area, fluent in the local language, and deeply connected to the community’s context.

The Lt. Col. S.K. Ofosu-Appiah Empowerment Center provides crucial support, including education, mentoring, and nurturing, to vulnerable children in Ghana’s Abetifi rural area. Our goal is to prepare these children for personal and educational success, fostering immediate and lasting changes in their lives.

Who is Lt. Col. S.K Ofosu-Appiah

He was born at Atebubu in the Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana on the 17th of June 1941.
